Dear LJ friends

You may or may not be aware that our dear friends at Story Spring Publishing have brought out a new book, this one the first in a projected trilogy.

The story concerns a girl on the verge of womanhood, trying to find her role in a confusing and dangerous world, where she must choose the correct path, often turning against everything she has been taught to believe is right and true. It seems that TPP has some bills that are proving hard to cover.

I, for one, do not wish to see the disappearance of another archive where I both post my stories and read other people's work. TPP is asking for donations.

I haven't read it - yet - but I do know and like Zander's writing. He's humane, intelligent, often very funny, and I am looking forward to reading this novel.

I've just finished reading the gift written for Shefa and have to rec it instantly!

It's called "Unconventional Therapies" (http://sshg-exchange.livejournal.com/318001.html) and is a wonderful exploration of the strength and the vulnerability that come through love. It's intelligent, nicely written, and a very satisfying emotional journey.

"More Things In Heaven And Earth" - http://sshg-exchange.livejournal.com/314776.html - is a delightful two-part story of snarkily developing romance. It's well written and very amusing and I heartily recommend it.
